Mechanicsburg Reco is a water damage restoration company serving Mechanicsburg, PA and nearby areas. We take water out of homes and small commercial buildings, dry what is left to a measured reading and clean up after it.

This page is short on purpose. We do not list awards or reviews we cannot show you. We say what we do, how we do it and how to reach us.

What we do, and what we hand to someone else

How a job runs, and the standard behind it

We follow IICRC standards for water damage drying and cleanup. In practice that means each job starts with moisture readings and a thermal camera, not a guess. We mark the wet boundary, extract the standing water, remove what cannot be dried and set air movers and dehumidifiers. Then we come back, take readings and stop when the materials match dry material elsewhere in your house.

Everything is written down: dated photos, readings, a map of the wet areas and a scope of work. If your insurer asks for them, you have them. Your insurer decides coverage, and we do not promise approval.

Water still spreading? Do not wait for it to stop on its own.

Where we work, and how far each town is

TownDirection and distance from Mechanicsburg
ShiremanstownAbout 3 miles east
Camp HillAbout 5 miles east
CarlisleAbout 10 miles west

Distances are straight-line from the center of Mechanicsburg. We are a service-area business and come to you. Each town page covers its own soil, creeks, housing and water problems, with the data and where it came from.

How we quote and what we will not do

We quote after we see the job. We do not give blind quotes over the phone, and we do not hide mold with paint or leave equipment running longer than readings justify. See our pricing page for published ranges and what moves them, and the cost estimator for a rough number.

Our blog explains the same material in plain terms: read the posts. To reach us, see the contact page, or call (223) 245-0005. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the emergency line is answered 24 hours.
